It took only a year for Decanter Bisztró to become the haunt of the wine- and jazz lovers of Veszprém after Tamás Zsandár opened it in 2012. Summer is all about tourists, but in the autumn and winter mostly the locals taste their prime cuisine. This old firefighter stockhouse is decorated with memories, carefully selected objects, wood and antiques. The windows radiate a special atmosphere, perhaps because they used to function as entries for the carriages. Wine, jazz and delight are the catchphrases of Decanter: the owners of the place want to shake up Veszprém's cultural life with jazz events, wine festivals and pálinka feasts.
