Following the weekend homes of Nagymaros and Lemberg, and the dachas of Lvov and Kyev, Andrej Tóth turned to the Balaton in his freshest paintings. The oil paintings on wooden boards of various sizes treat the personal memories of the artist.

The typical figures and locations of the Hungarian Sea  are portrayed with the naive charm and a great deal of irony well-known from the works by Andrej. The essential beach food of Balaton, the lángos, the hake and the pickles glance back at you from wooden boards. The motifs of Andrej's earlier exhibitions, the erotic side of the dolce vita also make a return.
