Located in the area of town called Fonyódliget, this beach along Árpád part Street is almost 1-km long. Holiday homes with large gardens are lined up on the other side of the narrow street, giving the area the atmosphere of a huge garden party.
Besides the tranquil and cosy atmosphere, there are also some useful amenities such as pedal boats, a playground and a badminton court. The beach’s retro giant slide and food stand complex has made an appearance in the popular flick Balaton Method as a backdrop for a performance by Hungarian alternative metal band Subscribe.
