The Figula Családi Pincészet has several vineyards (around Balatonfüred, Balatonszőlős, Pécsely, Csopak and Tihany), but their wine cellar is located right in the centre of these, on Balatonfüred's Meleghegy. The family sticks to the words written on an ancient mug that was found in the vicinity 'Da bibere.' It means, 'Give me a drink.'
Mihály Figula, who made the family's wine famous, passed away a few years ago. His wife and his two sons Mihály and János are taking care of the business and the father's legacy too. You can taste the Figula wines in their cellar, or in the recently opened Figula Wine Bar onthe promenade in Balatonfüred.
