The popular lemur population at Veszprém Zoo has recently increased with the birth of two pairs of twins. You can see the offspring, along with the other lemurs, in the Fejes-völgyi enclosure.
Veszprém Zoo provides a wealth of entertainment in the Balaton Uplands, alongside beaches and wineries, . Endemic to the island of Madagascar, with their characteristic ring tails and playful behaviour, lemurs have always been a popular attraction and now with the birth of twin pairs, there’s even more reason to visit.
The lemurs were born at the zoo in March, which means that the babies will soon be old enough to start eating fruit, vegetables, leaves and other vegetation.
You can see the baby lemurs as well the parents at their enclosure whenever the weather is suitable.
