Theatre night with Péter Kálloy-Molnár And Róbert Hrutka, Balatonfüred

The lovely company waiting for their turn of Palotás (Hungarian folk dance) at the Anna Ball in the ball room of the Anna Grand Hotel (Balatonfüred) will have to be patient until summer; to ease their tension, Péter Kálloy-Molnár and Róbert Hrutka Róbert will be telling stories, playing the guitar and singing songs there at 7 PM on Saturday. The performance combined with a wine tasting is part of the theatre night series of Anna Grand Hotel and the Pannon Várszínház of Veszprém. For the following episode, you will have to wait intil 14 December, when Antoine, Desiré and Comrade Fáskerti will appear at the Tamás Cseh (late Hungarian singer-songwriter) night.

St. Martin's Day Goose Feast, Veszprém

Though St. Martin's Day was Monday, those who did not have the time to feast on goose are also taken care of in Veszprém. The Historante étterem and the Malomkert sörház have both dedicated a week to the Goose Feast with every goose dish you could possibly imagine. If you feel the need to exercise some afterwards, choose the concert of Carbonfools in the Expresszó Klub.

Garda Festival, Tihany

Don't worry if you don't have a motorboat and hate to get up early: you can still catch some sabre carp, as there is a Sabre Carp Festival in Tihany in the weekend.While fishermen chase the fish on water, you can enjoy various gastronomical pleasures on the Visszhang-domb and at the PLACC market by the port--fish dishes will be accompanied by the pastries of Karolina Caffé, alcoholic beverages, music, dance and the lively bustle of fairs.

The night of mulled wine, Balatonfüred

One of the favourite bistros of Balatonfüred, Kredenc dedicated a whole night to mulled wine. The Saturday-night event is pretty straightforward: patio heaters outside, soul-jazz-funk by the Pingiczer-Figula piano-vibraphone duo inside, and mulled wine everywhere.

Intersport Balaton Marathon and half - marathon, Siófok

Last year, almost 4000 people conquered the autumn shores of Balaton in Siófok, running in the Intersport Balaton Marathon and Half-marathon. This year, just as many are expected to participate in the 10th, jubilee run on two distances, starting from Beszédes József sétán. Registration is already closed for the two-day (Saturday-Sunday) event, but if you happen to be in Siófok for the weekend and wish (or do not want) to see an immense number of runners, keep this in mind.

Geotrip around Belső-tó, Tihany

Vulcanoes, geysers and ice age glaciers-it's all there in Tihany. Or it used to be a few millenia ago. Still, no one is late; on Sunday, the guides of the geotrip will show you where lava, ice or hot water streamed once. The tour begins in front of Pisky sétány 12., registration is required, participation is worthwhile.
