Is it possible that autumn is the most beautiful season of Balaton? The sun is shining, the water is sparkling, the rose hip is growing, the grape is mature and the grass is smooth as you sit down on the hillside.
Is the weather going to be good or bad? In autumn it's difficult to predict whether it is worth going to Balaton or not. Or is it? When it is raining, you can always drink good wines, when it is cold outside you can set-up the fireplace, and in the end despite every prediction the sun just might come out.
We took photos of the colours, the rose hip bushes, the empty beaches, the grape harvests and everything else. It was the third weekend of the autumn at Balaton in September 2013.
