This year Hello Wood is returning to the shore of Lake Balaton for a week. Everyone’s favorite hipster architects, who’ve created a kind of tradition by coming together once every year, will set up their camp on Csórompuszta from July 14 through 22. This year’s event is called Settling: The Rituals of Arrival; the aim of the creators is to explore the challenges of settling from the perspective of architecture.

During the creative camp, the participants will seek to design the ideal village structure with the help of project coordinators who are internationally acclaimed architects and artists.
Unlike in previous years, Hello Wood will no longer just be a creative camp, but it’ll also function as a summer school and festival populated by new group leaders and students each year. Also, the installations created this year will not be taken away at the end of the event; they’ll remain exhibited in Csórompuszta during the Valley of Arts.
