Between 19th and 21st September Balatonfüred proposes a time travel back to Hungary's romantic reform era in the city center.
The Romantic 19th Century Festival is held annually in September, in cooperation of the Balatonfüred Tourism Association and several civil organizations.
This event is a true historical adventure, a live history class focusing on the Hungarian reform Era. Everything throughout the event will evoke the spirit of the 1800s, from the folk art and applied art fair, through the Reform Era dishes prepared by the city's restaurants on the basis of original recipes. The most spectacular attraction of the festival is the traditional parade.
