Ablak a Hegyre means “window to the hill” – the hill that the stylish guesthouse was named after is at the end of the huge, green garden, and it definitely sets the mood. There’re barely any noises here, instead you’re surrounded by silence and tranquility. Photographer and designer Dóra Vimola furnished the house in Mindszentkálla with great creativity. During the restoration, she tried to mix old things with new ones – this is how the old door ended up as a headboard, a pastry board became a basin top, and the pantry door got a new color and now functions as a sliding door.

Two apartments (one fits two, the other fits three people) have a shared hall, and they can also be rented out as one. The modern, two-level family apartment in the old stable has a double bed and three other beds downstairs. Kids can run around the huge, shared garden, or can hang out at the parlour at the barn.
