Balatonföldvár's market is still one of our favourites with its huge trees. The vendors arrive from a circle as wide as 30 kilometres, so the range of goods is quite colourful.

Some products deserve special mention, such as jams of peculiar (e.g. fig and quince) flavours, matured and spiced (e.g. thyme, basil, chili) cheeses, and the meat products. There is no chief market day, as the vicinity of the holiday homes make regular opening worthwhile.
