This part of Balatonudvari’s shore used to be the favorite hangout of the village’s ducks, but now it’s a wonderful beach. Although more and more people discover this place, it’s still far from being crowded: the beach still remains in the ‘hidden’ category.
Still, you can find everything you need for a relaxing experience: a nicely manicured lawn, shops and eateries, a beach volleyball court and a football pitch, a playground, a water sports equipment rental, and more. There’s also a sunbathing pier and a stage on the beach.
The main attraction is Balaton, of course: the water of the sandy beach is quite shallow, which makes it ideal for families with little kids. Parking is free of charge, there are a number of public bathrooms and changing cabins, and there’s plenty of room for your checked beach blankets.
