To reach the lookout tower by car, leave the roundabout on the limits of Keszthely and Gyenesdiás toward Faludi utca, heading for the scenic Nagymező via Lőtéri utca.

Once you’ve arrived, you should definitely get out of the car at the parking lot, and take a look at not only the sweeping vistas, but also the rare protected plant species of the Keszthely Hills. At the halfway point you’ll find a forest exercise field and a football pitch, but the setting is perfect for a relaxed picnic as well.

Several footpaths on the west side of the grassy field lead up to the tower, but keep an eye out for the signs, so that you don’t get lost on the way. Renovated in 2000, the three-storey observation tower offers a stunning 360-degree panorama of the Keszthely Bay.
