Gyula Szabó's Káli Kövek Borászat in Köveskál aims to restore local wine making and viniculture to their old fame. The winery prefers to make single-vineyard white wines, because the winemaker wants to emphasize the specialties of Káli-medence.

The winery has its own tasting room and wine terrace; the latter is often filled with the culinary specialties of local producers during wine tastings and dinners.

Gyula has a very characteristic beard, and is always happy to tell you about the reasons of his move to Káli-medence and how he founded a winery with some of his friends – in the company of a glass of Káli Kavics wine, of course.
