There are many things to see in Aszófő: firstly, there are the several centuries old the ruins of Kövesdi church. The road leading to the ruins offers a stunning panorama; in clear weather you can also see Tihany Abbey's snow white towers from here. The single-nave church that was built around the 1260-1270s lies in scenic, peaceful surroundings close to a reedy natural reserve.

Once here, take a walk among the vineyards on the other side of main road 71; the houses on the wine cellar row are listed  historic  buildings. These buildings were all built between 1848 and 1883, they consist of a press house and a wine cellar with tunnel vault, and they have been preserved in their original form.

Tip: Before or after the trip you can book a wine tasting at Skrabski Winery.
