Everything revolves around animals (especially horses) in the manor of the Balaton-Uplands National Park. You can go on a cross-country ride or roll around in a carriage, enjoy the show of Hungarian wranglers (called "csikós"), try a horse-drawn sled in the winter or watch your kid ride a pony. You can also meet ancient Hungarian farm animals, like the racka sheep, buffalos, grey cattle, and different types of poultry and shepherd dogs here.
The manor also serves as an information and tourist centre for the National Park. It is a great starting point for tours (on foot, by bike, on horseback, or in a carriage) to natural and cultural treasures around the Káli-medence, like the Hegyestű Geology Centre, seas of rock, or the ruins of a Pauline monastery south of Salföld.
