Set in the heart of the Káli Basin amid gently undulating fields, the church ruins of Sóstókál look like heaps of stone at first glance.

Built in the 13th century, the dilapidated building is an authentic remnant of the Árpád era, bearing the signs of Romanesque architecture.

To reach the site, take a pleasant, 15-minute walk on the dirt path running between Köveskál and Kővágóörs while taking in the beautiful view of the surrounding fields, which are reminiscent of a tranquil Mediterranean landscape.
