Zánka Beach is five minutes on foot both from the railway station and the bus terminal, and the Balaton Bike Ring runs right in front of the entrance.

Thanks to various developments the beach also has Wi-Fi. Those who like to be active in their free time can go wild on the sandy beach volleyball court and the basketball hoops set up in the water. There’s plenty of shade on the two playgrounds and a considerable stretch of the shore is covered with sand, so this is an ideal spot for children, too. You can find all the obligatory catering establishments and shops here.

In the summer season, lifeguards are present to keep beachgoers out of harm’s way, and a doctor is available every Saturday and Sunday. The beach has an entrance fee from May 30 to August 31, but visitors can use the promenade for free before and after the opening hours.
