Keszthely is the cradle of the agricultural education in Hungary, so it comes as no surprise that there is a related exhibition among the ancient walls of Georgikon (a former agricultural university in Keszthely, which was founded by Count György Festetics in the early 19th century) The museum is trying to keep up with current trends, so its revival in 2013 was aimed at bringing agriculture closer to everyone. If you're up to checking out a petting zoo, still functioning steam engines and other exclusive experiences, Georgikon Farm Museum is your spot. BTW, there is another petting zoo on the outskirts between Keszthely and Gyenesdiás. It is called Festetics Imre Zoo, and you can meet numerous farm animals native to Hungary here.
