Being the longest hiking path in Hungary, the 1,159-km Blue Trail runs from Írott-kő in the west to Hollóháza in the north. A central stretch of the trail is located on the Balaton Uplands, linking Keszthely and Kinizsi Castle in Nagyvázsony.

The Blue Trail is much more than a designated footpath: while wandering in the country’s most wonderful forests, hikers can collect stamps to prove the length of their trip. Traversing the Balaton etap of the trail, you can marvel at beautiful attractions like the Tapolca Cave Lake, the basalt organs on Szent György Hill, the Castle of Szigliget, or the Szentbékkálla Stone Field.
