Jóbarát Restaurant is on the outskirts of Keszthely, on the side facing Gyenesdiás. It is one of the restaurants recommended by locals. The interior and the garden would fit any episode of Sons of Anarchy, which feeling only grows when you see James Dean's picture on the door of the men's lavatory. The kitchen cooks traditionaldishes mostly, from broth to breaded mushrooms, but they also serve various kinds of fish including trout, zander and carp, therefore we'd recommend these. There are mixed opinions about the staff on Foursquare: some of the customers were satisfied, but others thought the serving was sluggish. We also had our share of waiting, the trout was delicious, but the chicken with lecsó was nothing exciting.
