Remember where the main stage of Balaton Sound was located in summer? Two youngsters from Budapest built a camping site opposite to them in Zamárdi. We talked to Máté Boka and András Gergely, the founders of Kertem Kemping. Video.
Máté Boka and András Gergely both live in Budapest, but in the summer they both worked in Zamárdi. Kertem Kemping is the result of their efforts. There used to be a camping site at the same place before, which was run as a family business. Máté's family helps to run the camping site, and the messy garden was cleaned by his friends. The camping site attempts to recreate the ruin pub atmosphere at Balaton, and it also tries to create a community. The guys welcome any guest; they don't only expect to see their friends here.
