Whether you’re looking for a short cut between the two shores of the lake or want to enjoy a cruise, Balaton boats are taking to the water again to provide scheduled services.
From May, boats will be operating daily on the Siófok-Balatonfüred-Tihany and the Fonyód-Badacsony routes while cruise ships depart from the docks at Siófok, Balatonfüred and Keszthely every day. Balatoni Hajózási Zrt provides safe crossing around the lake with 21 motor ships and four ferries.
Ships will also sail on the Balatonboglár-Révfülöp and the Balatonföldvár-Tihanyrév-Tihany routes after Whitsun, while the docks at Balatonföldvár, Balatonboglár,and Révfülöp will accommodate cruise ships operated by BAHART Shipping company. Water taxis will also be available starting from the holiday weekend.
