July is the month for festivals around Balaton. Here’s a selection of the most exciting events around the lake this month.

Balaton Sound

Balaton Sound is summer’s biggest party on the shore of Lake Balaton. This year’s headliners include David Guetta, Martin Garrix, The Chainsmokers and Rita Ora.

KeszthelyFest

KeszthelyFest is a music and gastronomy festival in Balaton’s western corner. One of the main highlights of this year will be Boban Marković Orkestar’s concert on July 7.

Rosé, Riesling and Jazz Days

Enjoy amazing wines, artisanal flavours and great music accompany this partner of the VeszprémFest. There will be three concerts each day, starting at 6pm, 8pm and 10pm.

Hello Nyár!

You can say hello to summer at Folly Arboretum every weekend throughout the month with guided tours and wine tastings in a tranquil and lush environment.

Wreck Racing National Championship

Those who are looking for something a bit different than the usual Balaton happenings should hop over to Gyenesdiás to enjoy an exciting race off the roads.

VeszprémFest

This year’s VeszprémFest will bring Ziggy Marley, Amy MacDonald, Aloe Blacc and Joss Stone to the City of Queens while food and drinks will be provided by the stalls of Rosé, Riesling & Jazz Days.
