The first acts for some of Lake Balaton’s best summer festivals have just been announced. Here’s a taste of what to expect next summer at the lake.
Balaton Sound, the biggest of Balaton’s music festivals, has just announced its first round of headliners, including such popular acts as Marshmello, Armin van Buuren, DJ Snake and more. Early bird tickets will be on sale from December 10.
STRAND Festival, the unofficial end-of-summer party at Balaton’s shoreline will feature John Newman, Bastille, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Anne-Marie among its performers. Early bird tickets are available until December 9.
After moving to Keszthely, B.my.Lake returns alongside STRAND Festival as the region’s biggest underground electronic bash moves back to its original venue in Zamárdi for 2019. The B.my.Lake line-up is yet to be announced.
Meanwhile, VeszprémFest, with an array of genres each year, has already announced that jazz singer Caro Emerald will appear on the festival’s first day in 2019. UK veterans UB40 play the third day, while British singer/songwriter Katie Melua performs on the fourth and final day of VeszprémFest. Similar to Balaton Sound, STRAND and B.my.Lake, VeszprémFest is organised as part of the MOL Nagyon Balaton event series.
