The Anna-ball has been one of the most important parts of Balatonfüred’s cultural life for almost two hundred years. Organized every year on the Saturday closest to the Anna name day, the ball is one of the most elegant events of Balaton. Taking place on July 27 this year, the ball always attracts various celebrities, artists and politicians.
The first Anna-ball was held in 1825 in Balatonfüred by Fülöp János Szentgyörgyi-Horváth for his daughter Anna-Krisztina. She met her future husband at this event, and it has been organized every year since then.
Gyógy tér will also be part of the festivities this year, with tables awaiting the ball's guests.
