The beach of Szigliget comes alive again as the town’s council opened an ice rink and sauna here that are available all through the week. Whether you are a fan of winter sports or just love to relax in a sauna, Szigliget will be the capital of Balaton for you this December.
You have to make an appointment in advance to be able to use the sauna. The sauna is only available for people over the age of 10; sauna towels are provided.
Ice Rink
- Under the age of ten: 300 HUF/session
- Over the age of ten: 600 HUF/session
- Ice-skate rent fee: 800 HUF/session
The ice rink is open from 2:30pm to 8pm between Monday and Friday, and from 10am to 7pm on weekends; it’s open from 10am to 7pm between December 25 and 30.
Sauna
- Price: 1,000 HUF/session
- Four-person: 2,5000 HUF/hour
