Never has there been another Japanese artist so much at home in Hungarian concert halls - never has the Hungarian audience celebrated one as its own. Kobayashi Ken-Ichiro has been enjoying unfaltering popularity in Hungary since he won the 1st International Conductor Competition of the Hungarian Television in 1974, which catapulted him into popularity all around the country.
