Landscape – Stories in 19th-century Hungarian Painting

Open until September 16, the exhibition showcases the typical themes and motifs of Hungarian landscape painting.

The exhibition includes works that place a specific landscape into a mythical or historic perspective. Most of the featured works are by Károly Markó and his students as these were the artists who established the genre’s national face.
