As Crimson, the Hungarian king of dubby disco and punkfunk put it in an interview: back when nu disco songs were still emotional, funny and convincing, the genre was called cosmic disco - and this is the era whence this early Norwegian classic dates from. He said that the modest, dubby Italo vibe of the song reminded him of childhood holidays at the sea, with the stars, the heat, the long-haired Yugoslav girl, and the tipsy aunts and uncles. All we can add is that this also works at Lake Balaton. Thrillingly unfolding themes, an italo vibe, and a electric trip on the dancfloor interpreted by a DJ who is inspired by the 1970ies and 1980ies as well as by progressive and krautrock. Disclosure - Latch (feat. Sam Smith)
The debut album that the Lawrence brothers released last year (Seattle) has managed to steal some mainstream radio pop into clubs loud from bass music hybrids. It was aimed both at party animals and gourmets crazy for American/Brit underground dance music (future garage, 2-step, UK funky, etc.) - and was brimming with earworm hits. Their DJ set also follow this dichotomy: iit radiates a raw, rhythmic energy that makes you move at once, but it is also easily accessible. Do not miss it!

Flosstradamus - Rollup (Baauer Remix)
Baauer's remix of Rollup by Flosstradamus has it all that makes the style so impressive: from the sound of syrens, through dancefloor-shaking drops, to the repetitive structure. Moreover, this is not the only song in which Baauer has managed to make the most of the combination of dubstep and electro house; just remember the viral Harlem Shake or Higher (featuring Jay-Z) and you'll know where to find the hottest party of Sound.

Flux Pavilion - I Can't Stop
If there was anything that could surpass the bomb that trap is, it must be dubstep sub-genre called brostep. The grand master of blending extra-massive bass lines, heavy metalish grinds, and twisted samples is Joshua Steele, a.k.a Flux Pavilion. The song I Can't Stop is like standing under a waterfall and being hit low by a volley of electro-bullets. Let the bass cannon kick it!

Brains - Superheroes
The band Brains has been an essential part of the Hungarian music scene for years. Their music is based on a spine of drumandbass, but the band synthesizes almost all current styles from dubstep, through drumstep to electro and break. The members are inspired by a wide range of musical genres, so it comes as no surprise that their fan base is as varied as their style is. The band plays eclectic and direct party-starters, usually in front of a full house, which means that the last day of the Sound is guaranteed to be memorable as well.

Wiz Khalifa - GangBang (feat. Big Sean)
Cameron Thomaz is often considered to be the next Snoop Dogg, who has already surpassed most of his fellow musicians - and he is not yet 30. No surprises there: he is more down-to-earth and accessible than Kid Cudi or Curren$y; he pours out hits like B.o.B.; and switches from G-funk (On My Level) to spaced out R&B-be (Roll Up) or to synthesizer-drum machine drilling (see below) with enviable ease. His first appearance in Hungary promises to be one of the best shows of Balaton Sound.

Diplo is at the same time the greatest culture vulture of the world, a fanatic explorer of global dance music and the unstoppable heart of the Major Lazer party force - if he does not drop the bomb at Lake Balaton then noone will. His name is associated with hours worth of booty shaking from Pon De Floor to Express Yourself, his bag has it all from moonbahton to baile funk, and noone can ignore his beats. Bumaye!

Azealia Banks - 212 (feat. Lazy Jay)
A rapper, provocateur, and a dictator of fashion; she has had Pharell Williams, Disclosure and Diplo work her flow - yes, this is Azealia Banks. Although the first album of the rapper from Harlem seems to undersell expectations like Chinese Democracy, we would not give up on her, as she is rumoured to be as explosive on stage as she is when she has to tell off Disclosure. Yung Rapunxel is a guarantee for muscle fever in your neck on the day after.
