Located in the center of town, Badacsony Beach can be found on a 14,000 m2 plot between the boat stop and the railway station. It has experienced spectacular progress over the past few years: a Wi-Fi system has been set up, an internet room is available and there's a bike-parking facility as well.
A sandy beach, a neat park and a beautiful panorama make this spot particularly appealing, but be careful: the water gets deep relatively fast. Food stands and other pavilions exude an authentic retro vibe.
Parking is the only problematic aspect: the nearby parking lot is free, but fills up really quickly, and other car parks in the area are super expensive.
