Located at the foot of the grandest of the solitary hills, the dock’s direct destination is Fonyód, while indirect services to Balatonboglár, Balatonlelle, Szigliget, Balatongyörök and Balatonmáriafürdő are also available. The dock is a busy one, with about 900,000 visitors each year.
The parking lot next to the dock is considered a reference point for locals and the first person to fly over Lake Balaton, Antal Lányi left for his journey from here in 1911.
Tip: The marina that can house 177 boats is next to the dock, and the Egry József Museum is also nearby.
