These scenic vineyards on the south side of Szent György-hegy have been owned by the Bajnóczy family for almost a hundred years. Tünde Szabó from the family’s fourth generation recently found her way back to winemaking.

Together with winemaker Áron Halmosi, they manage the vineyard based on the principles of biodynamic farming. Their wines represent various “styles”, including the fiery Sárkánytangó line and the reductive Szemenszedett wines.

For now, you can only try the wines if you make an appointment in advance: the drinks will be accompanied by sheep cottage cheese from Tóti market, the cheeses of Dezső Ódor, the breads of Búzalelke bakery and homemade pogácsa.

Tip: Check out their Facebook page to see if they have any acoustic concerts planned – they have someone playing on their lovely terrace every now and then.
