Platán Beach in Balatonboglár is sprawled over an area of 9.5 hectares on the Balaton shore. Sunbathing fans will adore this nicely maintained public beach because only a small section of it gets sufficient shade from nearby trees. Platán Beach is ideal for sports enthusiasts, as it has a sandy volleyball, football, and beach handball court, several streetball courts, and a basketball court with rubber flooring. Parts of the grassy area are also suitable for ball games. The little ones can have fun on the playground, or join the activities held in the afternoons during the summer season. You can also explore the Magyar Tenger Mesekert (The Hungarian Sea Fairy tale Garden) here, which holds exciting adventures, and in case you're missing some slides, check out the nearby Boglári Buborék Water Park, but keep in mind that it has an entrance fee!
