Balatonszéplak-felső is the first train stop after Siófok and this quiet section of the beach is only about a 10-minute walk away from the train station. The beach, not far from the end of the Silver Coast Public Beach, might not seem very inviting at first: there are barely any trees, there aren’t any showers or changing rooms, and Siófok’s latest hotel district is currently being constructed nearby.
Still, when summer comes, you can rent paddle boats, a couple of buffets open their doors, and there are some solitary spots on the edge providing the perfect view of the sunset. This beach is also a pleasant destination for families on a budget.
Tip: Free parking spaces are usually plenty near the beach.
