Visiting Eplény is worthwhile all-year-round. In the springtime, Intersport SkiArena transforms into BringArena (BikeArena) and invites everyone for downhill fun. The 4-seat Szent Sólyom ski-lift has been upgraded for transporting bicycles as well, so simply buy a ticket, hop on with your bike, then hop off at the top, and you can race the wind on the downhill course.
Of course, professional downhill riders are not the only guests at the complex: the BringArena has routes for family rides in the forests and beginner courses as well for those who are still learning how to ride a bike. You can reach several local attractions from here, like the Római-fürdő, Cuha-szurdok, Kőris-hegy, and Szépalma-puszta. If you want to spend the night, the Mother Hulda's Chalet is happy to welcome you. If you get hungry, try Ámos-hegyi BBQ Restaurant; for those who prefer to look around, the lookout tower offers a magnificent view of Bakony; in clear weather you can see as far as Lake Balaton.
