Csikász Gallery is the first exhibition space in The House of Arts (Művészetek Háza), right after the main gates. This is the main cultural venue of the city and it can be found in one of the most beautiful parts of Veszprém: walking along the cobblestoned streets of the Castle District, it is right after the Fire Lookout Tower.
Besides the other exhibition areas that have permanent exhibitions, the gallery houses the current exhibitions of the House of Arts as well, so it’s always worth checking out what’s on display at its 4-5 halls before a visit to the Balaton Uplands.
Tip: After the exhibitions, we can enjoy the amazing view of the city from the former castle wall that can be reached through the courtyard.
