Miki Havas, the former bassist of Irie Maffia, a Hungarian pop band, has been regularly visiting Zánka for years when he had the idea to open a guesthouse in the place of an old pub. A guesthouse that’s large enough to comfortably fit his entire large family.

He didn’t want to open a restaurant, but he hired chef Attila Tóth known from Mi a kő and Zománc to create personalized breakfasts for the guests. Now the terrace has its own chef who creates abundant breakfasts and brunch-like lunches and dinners.

The rooms are equipped with everything one might need, and although the prices aren’t exactly low, the place isn’t overpriced given the quality and the location.

Tip: The owner wants to bring back the community function of the place with various events, acoustic concerts and more.
