Housed in the cellar of a special, reform-era building called Horváth House, the Wine Gallery is located in the heart of Balatonfüred. The prestigious villa, which was the venue of the first Anna Ball in 1825, has a modern interior that is in perfect harmony with the decorative, hundred-year-old barrel pieces and winemaking tools. The drink selection ranges from the important items of the Balaton wine region to first-class pálinkas and artisan syrups. The wine snacks as well as the warm and cold dishes are made from local ingredients.
Apart from the restaurant, the Wine Gallery also features a library, a reading nook and a wine vault. Situated a bit further away from the bustle of the beach, the terrace is a great choice for sipping wine on warmer spring and summer days. From time to time, the restaurant hosts wine presentations, wine dinners and wine and music themed events. Walk-ins are welcome to take part in spontaneous wine tastings, and clients can rent the wine cellar for special events.
