Kőkonyha (translates as Stone Kitchen) is an enchanted place on the southern slope of Somló. You can enter through a narrow opening.

The space, surrounded by basalt organs, has an open top, hence the name: the smoke of the fire was able to escape via this opening. There’s also a slope named after this formation: the best wines of Somló come from the vineyards located there.

Tip: Visit Somlói Borok Háza for a glass of Juhfark or other volcanic wines from the area.
