You can relax next to the sophisticated courses of Lavender Terrace in Balatonvilágos all year round – and as chef Gábor Kostyál confessed, all of these courses are made with great passion.
Given the name, it isn’t really a surprise that the restaurant has a mostly Provencal atmosphere: they bought white chairs, painted the walls lavender, and they compose the meals they serve with a great care. However, the most romantic part of it all is the backyard, where there’s a lake, linden trees, and luckily tables, too, so we can eat our dinner in this romantic atmosphere.
As for cool details, the beer tap was made from the engine of a Honda. And if we don't feel like going anywhere else, we can take a room and spend the night at the guesthouse.
