Situated near Alsóörs, this lookout tower on Csere-hegy was built in 1935 based on the designs of Jenő Padányi Gulyás. Originally called Miklós Horthy Lookout Tower and Freedom Lookout Tower, the structure received its current name after a 2001 renovation. The exhibition building next to the tower often houses the artworks of local artists. Csere-hegy, a 298-meter tall hill in the Alsóörs-Balatonalmádi region, offers a stunning view of Lake Balaton and the surrounding townships. In clear weather, you can see all the way to the Somogy Hills and the town of Veszprém.
