Good news for Balaton sailors: Balatonfűzfő’s marina is open to the public, awaiting weary “seafarers” with 206+10 berths, a restaurant with a beautiful view, guarded parking spots, internet access and comfy beds (rooms or apartments). The marina is shielded from south-westerly waves. Other services include a boat repair station and Hungary’s first travel lift with a 16-tonne capacity, which can make sure that boats are easily transferred into or out of the water. If you are looking for a place to store your ship for the winter, look no further than the northeastern corner of Balaton – seasonal storage spaces are available both on water and on land.
