Arriving in Ábrahámhegy on main road 71, you can immediately spot Bökk-tető, colloquially known as “the hill”, in the center of the village. The three-story observation tower at the top was inaugurated in 2002 – you can access it from the direction of Badacsony by turning left at the first intersection.

From the tower, you can see the hills of Fonyód and Balatonboglár’s Gömbkilátó to the south, and the smaller peaks of the Balaton Uplands, such as Hegyestű, to the north. Thanks to the smart, little metal plates, even those who know nothing about geography can experience the joy of identifying the elements of the surrounding landscape.

Tip: Bökkhegyi utca is a cul-de-sac, and a parking lot has been created at the very end, by the park with the benches and the rock garden, but if you feel like a walk, you can approach on foot from the center.
