The main beach of Siófok lives in the memory of most people as a huge, sandy beach where you can relax, exercise, and party as if you were by the sea. Up until now it was called Beach Club, but it was renamed in the summer of 2016. After the recent revamp, the beach awaits locals and tourists strolling down Siófok’s waterfront with the new name PLÁZS. There’s a huge sun deck, a pool, a terrace, sun loungers, and lots of sports activities, including stand up paddle boarding. Instead of the typical greasy beach foods, you can munch on healthier snacks while reading a book borrowed from the beach library. PLÁZS will turn into a small festival venue during summer with Hungarian bands taking the stage every weekend.
