Originally planning to open a guesthouse somewhere on the ocean shore, the Indian-Hungarian couple running the Sárga Ház in Káptalantóti ended up creating a mini Provence in a tiny Hungarian village.

From early spring until late autumn, three fully equipped two-floor apartments accommodating four people each await visitors to the region. With interiors resembling those of rural French mansions, the apartments have been made cozier with eastern accessories and furniture originating from flea markets visited during trips abroad.

In the mornings the air fills with appetizing smells coming from the kitchen where the Indian wife is busy baking corn bread or cooking jam, and guests can taste homemade delicacies for lunch, too.
