Located on Balatonlelle’s Kishegy, Szent Donát Chapel is a typical example of the architectural style called vernacular baroque. The building stands on a plot barely bigger than a handkerchief. Along with the charmingly misshapen statues, the chapel also offers a great view to those who are willing to make the trek up Kishegy. What also makes the climb worthwhile is that the Majtényi Press House is right next to the chapel. The former manor cellar now houses a restaurant, serving home style cooking, but at a much higher nivaeu than your average tavern. Come, sit on the terrace and munch on some curd cheese dumplings - you won’t be disappointed.
