Tarkarét Biofarm is the home of about 150 native buffalos along with Hungarian grey cattle, Hungarian spotted cattle, goats, Racka sheep, and some donkeys.
Their caretakers live a stress-free life and they try to provide the animals with their natural living conditions. They are kept free range in the nearby meadows, valleys and plateau. The buffalos of the farm are part of a gene preservation programme.
You can order meat from Tarkarét via their website and then collect your products at the farm at the designated times.
