Sajkod is one of the best beaches around Lake Balaton. It is hidden on the western side of Tihany Peninsula, far from the madding crowd. It is like an unravelled spot on the ocean.
Sajkod is far away from all kinds of public transport, so we would suggest you to arrive by bicycle or by car. If you insist on walking, try the hiking trails of Tihany Peninsula.
This beach is a small strip of land, with the trees of Csúcs-hegy overhanging it from behind, and a view of both shores of Balaton at the same time.
