Opened in November 2014, the Vászolyi Cheese Manufactory currently produces six kinds of cheese for purchase. Drop by on Saturday to pick up fresh cheese – for example, their light cream cheese or their semi-hard variety with walnut aftertaste that is actually flavoured with clover – for the Sunday breakfast table, and you won’t regret it. If Vászoly is nowhere near where you’re going, you can also buy the manufactory’s cheeses at other venues such as Pörc in Balatonkenese, Karolina Fűszerkertje in Füred, and Lipóti Bakeries in Balatonalmádi and Balatonfüred.
